The Testimony of Community

The ideal of community is perhaps best represented by the communal nature of worship, as there is nothing inherent to traditional Quaker worship that would require a group, but Friends through the years have consistently found more focus and comfort in corporate worship than in individual worship alone. Additionally, Friends acting under conviction (that is, those who feel led to act for change) are generally able to find much support from their local community.

Some consider Community to be a subset of the Equality Testimony, since the two conceptions are closely related.
